Water on LeafCAPS: Psychiatric Services

Psychiatry staff are part of Counseling and Psychological Services (CAPS) located on the 2nd floor of the East Building of the Student Health Center.  To reach the Psychiatry services, call (831) 459-2628, Mon-Fri, 8:00 a.m. To 5:00 p.m.  Psychiatry services are available to registered UCSC students who are eligible for services at CAPS.  Psychiatrists and Nurse Practitioners on the Psychiatry staff may be seen by appointment and in some cases on an emergency basis.  Psychiatric staff are also available for consultation.

If you are a patient of a psychiatrist here, or if you want to contact the psychiatry service about a clinical matter, or if you have an emergency, please DO NOT use email. There is no guarantee of privacy when sending email. Of equal importance,there may be a delay before the message is read. If you have a psychiatric emergency, please dial 911 or go to the nearest emergency room.
