PSYCHIATRIC SERVICES AT THE STUDENT HEALTH CENTER

Eligibility
All students currently enrolled at UCSC may make use of the services. There is no charge for a visit. In view of a need to extend access to all students, there may be a limitation on the number of visits in any one year.

Appointments
To make an appointment, please call 831-459-2628 or visit our office located at the Student Health Center, East Wing 2nd floor. Hours are Mon-Fri  8:00a.m. to 5p.m.

Emergencies
For suggestions and phone numbers for emergency referral and assistance on campus and in the Santa Cruz area, see Emergency List. At night, psychologists are on call to residential staff and others to asist with mental health crises on campus. Students in emotional crisis, or anyone concerned about them, can also call the Suicide Prevention Service of Santa Cruz County, 458-5300.

Confidentiality
The Psychiatry Service makes every effort to maintain confidentiality. Information is not released to other departments of the University without a student's permission.
