Community Solutions Workshop:

The Community Solutions Workshop (CSW) is a two-hour interactive session encouraging individuals to reflect upon their use of alcohol and other drugs (AOD) and the relationship of AOD use to the UCSC community. The content of the program is geared toward social users, with an emphasis on addressing social norms and reducing the risk of drug related harm for individuals and the campus as a whole. Chemically dependent individuals are referred to other sources.

CSW is used as an educational sanction for students who have violated the UCSC AOD policy or other University regulation while under the influence of alcohol and/or other drugs. For students referred as part of a court order or judicial sanction, there is a $40 fee for workshop participation.
