Student Health Services will be holding a vaccination clinic for students on November 30 and December 1, 2022, at the Stevenson Event Center. Students can choose to get a flu shot or both the flu shot and the Moderna COVID-19 bivalent booster.
Students can make an appointment on Health e-Messenger or call the Student Health Center at (831) 459-2500. Flu vaccination is free for students with UC SHIP ($25 for those without). COVID-19 vaccination is free for all students.
The updated (bivalent) boosters are called “bivalent” because they protect against both the original virus that causes COVID-19 and the Omicron variant BA.4 and BA.5. Learn more about bivalent boosters here.
Everyone 6 months of age and older are recommended for annual flu vaccination, with rare exception. A flu vaccine is the best way to help prevent illness from the flu and its potentially serious complications.
