If you would like to opt out of UC SHIP for spring quarter, the deadline to turn in a waiver is 3/17/2025
To accept or continue enrollment in UC SHIP no action is necessary; you will automatically be enrolled and billed for the premium. Check your financial aid packet to see if you qualify for the UC Health Insurance Grant.
Students have the opportunity to apply to waive out of UC SHIP during the waiver period each quarter. If you’ve already waived out for this academic year, you do not need to complete another waiver until the 25/26 academic year.
